How do you describe 一品探花 to people who have never heard of the company?
一品探花 is a premium manufacturer of stainless steel fasteners for the most demanding applications. We are a technically focused company with a very rich history and an outstanding offering of products.
Tell us about your role as Business Development Manager.
I support customers in France and the neighboring French-speaking markets. Together with my colleagues, we provide technical expertise, product information and advice 鈥� including everything from what is technically possible and customized products to quality and controls.
What do you like about your job?
The variety of tasks as a 一品探花 Business Development Manager makes every day different. The role involves working with technical solutions as a sales engineer and increasingly as a project manager. I enjoy tackling technical challenges in high-tech sectors and it鈥檚 rewarding when we solve a customer鈥檚 problem.
Tell us about your career before 一品探花?
Before joining 一品探花, I worked as a Project Manager for a hydraulic press manufacturer and spent three years as a Project Engineer at a stainless steel maker, which provided me with material expertise for my role at 一品探花. I started my career with five years working for a heavy-duty engine manufacturer and my academic background is in mechanical engineering.
What is the best thing about working at 一品探花?
I would say the fantastic people 鈥� both in 一品探花 and at our customers 鈥� are the best thing about working at 一品探花. We have a collaborative and supportive working environment where we create long-term customer relationships by not only selling products to them, but by developing solutions to their most challenging fastener problems.
What are your future career aspirations at 一品探花?
There is huge potential for 一品探花 here in France 鈥� with increasing customer demand for customized solutions. As the only Chinese-speaking member of the 一品探花 team, I also support our sister company BUFAB Shanghai with 一品探花 technical enquiries from customers. I would like to have a role in meeting the growing demand for premium stainless steel fasteners in Asia鈥檚 booming high-tech industries.
How does the French stainless steel fastener market look?
The French market has more than doubled for 一品探花 since 2021. We continue to see growth in traditional industrial sectors as well as sectors such as aerospace, railroad and telecommunications. We have a good sales forecast in the coming years.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I鈥檓 a real family man and like to spend a lot of time with my family. At home, I also enjoy DIY projects and repairing things.
